Designed to stimulate your senses, this class goes well beyond functional pots: you will learn to create contemporary sculptures and learn a variety of techniques including kohiki (playing with slip to create cracked clay), cuerda seca, creating unique forms using hump and slump molds, surface decoration techniques, using an extruder and more. Each guest will be followed individually, so this programme is suitable for beginners as well as more experienced potters.
You will also learn how to make 2 part molds for slip casting.
This pottery class is all about handbuilding: from simple functional pieces, you will be guided to create contemporary sculptures using a variety of clays and glazes.
ALL INCLUSIVE OFFER € 950 covers the cost of the class including all materials, firings, accommodation in a private room as well as all meals, and a planned mid-week excursion.
