Mostly mountainous and wild, this region is a land of rustic charm dotted with medieval villages and home to one of the finest and best preserved medieval churches in Europe. It is also the land of bears and wolves who live protected in nature reserves.

During your stay we will visit the Abbey of San Clemente, a fine example of romanesque construction, and will enjoy a half day excursion to the Orfento Valley where Hermits built their hermitages. Read more...
